What Garena does publish
Garena’s Abuse Policy bans nicknames that promote hate or discrimination, are offensive, vulgar or sexual, impersonate Free Fire staff or other players, promote illegal activity or encourage harassment. A name that breaks the policy is reset to a default one without warning, and repeated cases can lead to a suspension.
Garena does not publish a length limit or a character list. The 12-character limit quoted in guides is what players report, and symbols from some scripts are reported to count as more than one character, so a name that fits in the counter here may still be refused.
Free Fire MAX
Free Fire MAX uses the same Garena account as Free Fire, linked through Firelink, so the same nickname rules and symbols apply.
Can you have an invisible Free Fire name?
