How black bubble text works
Each letter is swapped for a character from the Enclosed Alphanumeric Supplement, Dingbats block (U+1F150–U+1F169). These were added for legacy East Asian encodings, where enclosed letters and numbers are common in lists and forms.
Coverage for this style: A–Z (lowercase becomes uppercase), 0–9. Anything outside that range passes through unchanged.

This style covers A–Z (lowercase becomes uppercase), 0–9. Characters outside that set have no styled equivalent in Unicode and are left as they are.
Will black bubble work in my Instagram or TikTok username? +
Not in the @username, which only allows letters, numbers, periods and underscores. It works in your display name, bio and captions.
Can screen readers read black bubble? +
